Spice Of Southeast Asia Cruise: 5 - nights in June 2012

Turn up by cruise ship into the bustling Kuala Lumpur, or KL as it's known. The city rose up from the forbidding jungle terrain to become one of the most fascinating architectural landscapes on earth. A blend of native Malaysian, Chinese Imperial and European influences has created a city that is as breathtakingly beautiful as it is alive with culture. Penang, Malaysia is complete with gorgeous beaches, abundant culture, rich history and excellent food. Truly, there is more to see and experience in the "Pearl of the Orient" than one person can possibly handle. Next stop is Phuket, Thailand. Located in the Andaman Sea, the island of Phuket in Thailand was one of the earliest tourist developments in Southeast Asia. Though most folks come for the beaches, Phuket boasts amazing snorkeling, windsurfing and trekking for the adventurous types. Hills dominate this tropical island and the views from the top shouldn't be missed.

Island Magic Cruise: 12 - nights in June 2012

Experience some island magic in the balmy Pacific islands in June. Depart Brisbane in winter and arrive in the warm Port Vila. There are beautiful coastal views of the city with its clusters of houses and small scale resorts nestled amongst tropical vegetation making an attractive scene. The harbour is quite active with fishing boats, yachts and speedboats passing between the various nearby islands. The dock bustles with dancers and music and there are lots of friendly locals selling handicrafts. The covered market place is a colourful and interesting place to visit selling handicrafts, fruits and colourful tropical flowers. Bula! Fiji's capital is next. The waterfront area is very interesting, and the Suva Municipal Market is a must-see for visitors for its exotic fruits and vegetables, kava, fish and seafood, and spices. Smell the Frangipani as you enter Port Denerau. An idyllic place to beach comb and be greeted by the huge smiles of friendly Fijian locals. Tiny Mystery Island is picture perfect, with sandy pathways that lead to white beaches edged with coconut trees and crystal clear lagoons offering great snorkelling. The waters off the Isle of Pines must really 'wash whitest' because the sands of the Isle's Kato Bay will impress any visitor with its white, white, talcum-like beach. he most difficult aspect of your visit to the Isle of Pines will be saying goodbye to its sunny skies, friendly faces, warm waters and of course those beautiful beaches.

Scandinavia & Russia Cruise: 12 - nights in June 2012

Take an adventurous break and explore Scandinavia and Russia. Leave Amsterdam, the world's favourite hangout, and head for Warnemunde, Berlin. Located at the mouth of the Warnow River, Warnemünde is a charming old fishing town where they say your chances of catching a fish are just as good as your chances of catching a ride to historic Berlin. In the style city of Stockholm, explore the parks, museums, shops, cafés and palaces. Helsinki's unique location may be overshadowed by the capital city's stunning meld of old and new structures and some of the most spectacular bays you could hope to find. Strolling down broad, tree-lined streets, don't forget to take notice of the stunning neoclassically designed architecture in Senate Square.  Russia may not be a popular tourist destination but once you see St. Petersburg's regal palaces and many vast public squares, you'll agree there's nothing quite like this lovely city. Take some time in Tallinn, Estonia and then cruise to Copenhagen. When surrounded by a sea of blooming flowers in Tivoli Gardens or while admiring Copenhagen's famous Little Mermaid statue, it's virtually impossible to find yourself in the capital of Denmark without a smile on your face.
